Big Sky Knitting Designs is the home for all of Janet Szabo’s creative knitted works. During the time she was actively designing and writing, she produced 40 issues of Twists and Turns: The Newsletter for Lovers of Cable Knitting, had dozens of designs published by other media outlets, and self-published three books, Aran Sweater Designs, Cables, Volume 1: The Basics, and The ‘I Hate to Finish Sweaters’ Guide to Finishing Sweaters. Although she is no longer actively designing knitwear, Janet remains busy as a maker and writer. Her interests have expanded to include sewing, quilting, bagmaking, and vintage sewing machine collecting. She writes several times a week in her blog at Suck It Up, Buttercup.
