Chenille
Chenille
Design Notes: I wanted this to be a dressier-than-average Aran sweater. The cables are very delicate and I liked the way they interacted with each other. The set-in sleeves are definitely dressy. I took advantage of cable splay to make the bottom edge flare out a bit, giving the illusion of waist shaping.
The design originally appeared in my book Aran Sweater Design. It's reprinted here under a new name, courtesy of a knitter who knit this sweater.
