Before felting: base 11" wide by 4½" tall, bag 11" wide by 14" tall
After felting: base 10" wide by 3½" tall, bag 10" wide by 9½" tall
Materials:
Color A: 200 yds any yarn which knits to the specified gauge. Sample done in Chuckanut Bay Perendale (100% wool) 390 yards/200g skein
Color B: Approx 75-100 yds any yarn which knits to the specified gauge. Sample done in Chuckanut Bay Perendale (100% wool) 390 yards/200g skein
US size #8 (5 mm) circ and dp ndls or size required to obtain gauge

Small amounts of wool yarn for embroidering, white E beads for centers
Embroidery needle
Gauge before felting: 18 sts and 22 rows = 4" (10 cm) over Stockinette stitch on US size #8 (5 mm) ndls
Note: Color B alternates with color A using the intarsia method. Wind 14 lengths of color B (approx 16" long) onto bobbins. Each cable is knit with a separate length of color B; color A is stranded behind color B. Pick up the new color from under the old color to twist the strands and avoid a hole. Add lengths of color B as needed.
